Step By Step Guide To Our Recomp & Strength Transformation.

Step One

Assessment week.

I want to meet you where you are..

Current goals.

Challenges.

How often you currently train.

How often you want to be in the gym.

Favourite places to eat out (mines a good Turkish)

How you would like to track things.

This goes far beyond what most trainers will look at.

But that's what sets us apart...

The details.

Step Two

Plan creation.

Every part of your plan is tailored, chosen specifically for you based on your assessment week, your training plan, Nutrition & Lifestyle targets, along with how we will be tracking these things.

Recomposition is removing bodyfat and building muscle (Don't worry, you won't look like a bodybuilder unless this was specifically your goal)

In order to do that we have to alternate between fat loss & Muscle buidling phases while getting stronger in our main lifts. (without living in the gym)

Step Three

The Results.

Rome wasn't built in a day is a bit cliché. But its true, It takes time to become the version of you that you that gives the opposite sex whiplash whenever they see you.

But that doesn't mean you won't see any results.

When we are in a fat loss phase, we look to lose 1%of our bodyweight per week (but this is based on expectations and what habits we're prepared to build)

You will see strength and general fitness improve within a few weeks.

And over the course of 8-12 months you will see a dramatic change in the way you look.

Step Four

Maintaining the result.

Everyone thinks the fat loss part is hard, However keeping the fat off while you build muscle is arguably much harder.

after we do our initial fat loss phase we go through a reverse diet / Muscle building phase where we want to gain weight as slowly as possible.

(think 0.5-1% per month)

And yes a majority of this is going to be muscle.

But this is why having a coach is so important.

We can implement techniques like re-feed days

(so you never feel the guilt of falling off again)

Enjoy your date nights, Social events and holidays without that "ah shi*" gut punch.

Get in the Gym.

I will guide you through each exercise detail, coaching you on proper technique and explaining the purpose behind each exercise. As your trainer, it is my responsibility to ensure you understand the ‘why’ behind every movement while making your workout fun, enjoyable, and appropriately challenging.

Testimonials.

★★★★★

"five months later, I’m down a dress size. My body fat has decreased, my muscle mass has increased, and, more than anything else, my knee pain has improved. it happened so gradually that I never felt like I was dieting, never felt like I had to squeeze gym sessions into my hectic life, and never felt like any of it was a chore"

"I look forward to continuing my journey with him. Thank you!"

I would highly recommend Hamish at Strong bodies

"I started my journey with him 3 months ago and plan on sticking with him for the foreseeable. He has not only helped me lose weight, but gain my confidence inside and outside of the gym. He is professional and knowledgeable"

"I enjoy our sessions together!

Highly recommend!"

Sonia.

★★★★★

"I initially went to him for support with suspected tendonitis in my glute. I’ve been an avid gym goer for about 15 years and got stuck in my ways, but when injury occurred, Hamish really helped me get back on track"

"He assessed my movements and tweaked the way I lifted. It worked wonders and I pursued further sessions with him out of shear enjoyment of his programmes. Hamish is professional, personable and very knowledgeable. You can also have a giggle along the way with him!

Body Recomp.

Imagine if you looked the way you always wanted to

How would it feel to...

Stop avoiding the mirror when you walk past it...

Stop pulling the bottom of your T-shirt trying to "unstick it"

Not be the "big one" in the group...

Not feel guilty when you eat out...

Go on holiday and take your top off without that panic...

Do you know what being in the best shape of your life feels like?

Neither did the guys above...

They were exactly where you are right now

Frustrated, Worried, On the fence.

"What if I don't get the result"

"What if I fail?"

What If?...

But they decided to make the leap.

Before they were ready

Start now and apply what they can

And guess what?

The clients that do that?

They got the result they wanted.

Strength & Conditioning

It's one thing to look good.

But we want the goods to back it up,

Strength.

Speed.

Endurance.

Co-ordination.

To feel unstoppable in our daily life.

I truly believe that this is missing from most programs and its what helps my clients not only get incredible "mirror based" results.

But helps them get..

Stronger.

Faster.

Fitter.

Than they ever were in their 20's

Do I need to be fit to start personal training?

Not at all! Personal training is for everyone, no matter your starting point. Whether you're a beginner, returning to exercise after a break, or looking to enhance your current fitness level. I’ll create a program that matches your abilities and gradually challenges you as you improve.

How does the process work?

It begins with an initial consultation, where we’ll discuss your goals, fitness history, and any limitations you might have. From there:

  • We will complete a movement assessment.

  • I’ll design a personalized program tailored to your needs.

  • We’ll schedule regular training sessions to work on exercises, track progress, and adjust the plan as needed.

  • I’ll provide ongoing support, motivation, and accountability throughout your fitness journey.

How soon can I expect to see results?

Results vary based on your starting point, consistency, and goals. Many clients start feeling better and noticing small improvements in 2-4 weeks, with visible changes often appearing around the 6-8 week mark. I’ll monitor your progress and make adjustments to maximize results.

What should I bring to a training session?

  • Comfortable workout clothing and athletic shoes.

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated.

  • A towel for sweat.

  • If we’re training outdoors wear weather-appropriate clothing.

How long are the training sessions?

Each session typically lasts 45 - 60 minutes. This allows us to complete a self guided warm-up, the main workout, and a cool-down / Finisher while addressing your fitness goals effectively.

How often should I train with a personal trainer?

The frequency depends on your goals, schedule, and budget. Many clients train 2-3 times per week, but even one session per week combined with independent workouts can yield results. I’ll help you find a routine that works best for you.

Do you provide meal plans?

While I’m not a licensed dietitian, I offer general nutritional advice to help you make healthier food choices that support your goals. For more detailed dietary plans, I can refer you to a qualified nutritionist or dietitian.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to adjust my schedule and offer the slot to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
